Mello hauled his bag onto his shoulder and left the library, walking down the hall in the direction of his room as shafts of dusty evening sunlight spilled through the large windows. Upon reaching his destination, he shut the door with a click behind him, leaning against it for a moment and rubbing his eyes, before dropping his bag on his desk and falling back onto his bed, yawning. Other kids ran laughing through the halls, past his door, but he paid them no mind, and fell asleep stretched out atop the covers.
